our poor deprived kids

Yesterday
we ended up at the library
during Storytime
(or maybe it was Toddler Time??)
so I let the little ones join in.
There were stories, songs, and a snack.
Josiah was telling Daddy all about it,
".... and we had goldfish and some red drink.
(looks at mom)
What was that stuff?"
um.
That would be Koolaid.
~
Speaking of Josiah and Storytime,
he was such a good big brother to Lily
and I was so proud of him!

  1. I thought this was funny. We don't have Koolaid at our house either. I didn't buy Poptarts until this last year, kids said they always wondered what they tasted like!

  2. haha :)
that reminds me of 'bagged bread!'

I buy a single can of spaghetti o's (excuse me, 'spaghetti rings'. O's are more expensive) every couple months, just for me. It's a pretty cheap indulgence, I figure.

know what I've been wanting though? curly noodles! Isn't that terrible!?
